POLICY

1 DOWN PAYMENT/WARRANTY

In confirmation of a reservation, Parc Hotels Italia does not accept prepaid cards, but requires:

- a bank transfer, which must be carried out within 10 days subsequent to the date of reservation, and must be in an amount equal to that of the first night of the purchased stay;

OR

- the details of the credit card (prepaid credit cards are not accepted). Parc Hotels Italia will send a preauthorization request in order to check the validity of the credit card provided as a warranty, without any charge. If the card turns out to be invalid and the client is unable to provide the details of a new card, the reservation will be cancelled, unless the client decides to carry out a bank transfer.

 2 CANCELLATION, NO-SHOW AND EARLY DEPARTURE

If you would like to cancel or change your reservation, please send a written notice via email to [email protected] or fax to +390365954447. In case of reservations made through Parc Hotels Italia online booking engine, just click on the link in the confirmation email.

It is possible to cancel the reservation free of charge up to 2 days before the arrival.

In case of late cancellation 1 night will be charged.

In case of no-show the whole amount of the booking will be charged.

In case of early departure, guests could be charged at most 3 nights for stays longer than 3 nights; for stays until 3 days could be charged 50% of the total amount of unused nights.

3 ADVANCE PAYMENT/NON-REFUNDABLE

If you purchase this special rate, the whole amount will be charged on your credit card; if you choose to carry out a bank transfer, the whole amount is due in advance within 10 days subsequent to the date of the reservation: after this deadline, your reservation will be cancelled. The whole amount will not be refunded in any case. Different terms and conditions of payment, which will be indicated on the booking confirmation, may be applied in some periods.

4 PAYMENT IN HOTEL AND CHECK-OUT

FOR CREDIT CARD OWNERS (EXCEPT FOR PREPAID CARDS)

If you have a credit card, upon checking-in you will be asked to give your consent to charge on your credit card (prepaid cards are not allowed) the whole price of your stay and the extras for you and those who are with you, thanks to the “Priority Check-out Service and Delayed Charge” provided by CartaSI. The validity of the credit card will be verified by pre-authorising on it the whole amount of your stay: this operation will be carried out 7 days before your arrival if you book your stay in advance, or upon your arrival in case of walk-ins.

If you do not want to avail yourself of the “Priority check-out service and delayed charge” service, you will be required to pay for your stay upon checking-in. Moreover, all the extras (e.g. drinks, meals, beauty treatments, etc.) must be paid cash upon your order and cannot be charged to your room bill.

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A CREDIT CARD OR HAVE A PREPAID CARD

If you do not have a credit card or have a prepaid card, you will be asked to pay in cash the whole amount of your stay. Every extra must be paid in cash and cannot be charged to your room bill.

As an alternative to cash payment, Parc Hotels Italia gives you the opportunity to pay your stay in full via bank transfer, which we must receive at least 3 days before your arrival.

5 TOURIST TAX

The tourist tax is not included in your rate and must be paid out at the hotel, in cash, barring any exemption or reduction provided for by the local authority law. In case you subscribe to the “Priority check-out service and delayed charge” service, the tourist tax will be charge on your credit card.

6 DAMAGE

Parc Hotels Italia shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect damage the clients might be subjected to, i.e. theft, loss, injury, or accidents that may occur while utilising the hotel amenities and facilities or partaking in an entertainment activity, possible work stoppage that may delay the arrival or departure and cannot be directly ascribed to the hotel staff, or occur during the client’s stay or during the transportation from and to the hotel.

7 CURRENCIES

At the hotel cash desk, you can change all the major foreign currencies into euros. We shall not accept personal cheques; however, we shall accept traveller’s cheques and eurocheques. Credit cards are only accepted as an option of payment and not to change currencies.

8 PRICES

Our prices are in euros, per room and per day, and include service, VAT, complimentary use of indoor and outdoor pools, use of sunbeds and parasols, use of leisure and entertainment equipment. The use of garage, tennis courts, golf courses, and bike hikes, horseback rides, boat and pedal boat rental, the use of the sports fields outside the scheduled entertainment activities, and every other service included in the hotel description are not included in in the rate, unless it is clearly stated in the booking confirmation. The half-board basis includes overnight stay, breakfast, and dinner (lunch is not included).

9 CHILDREN

Children can only enjoy discounts and reduced rates on condition that they share the same room with two adults charged at the full rate.

10 PETS

Ask the dining room staff for a platter, then choose your food from the buffet: you can now serve it to your pet at the tables near the bar. Ask for a bowl as well, to quench the thirst of your little friend.

You’ll have a private area for the two of you, by the pool.(Subject to availability)

If your pet is alone in your room, please let the staff know by hanging the “Do not disturb” sign on the door knob. Your room will be made up between 9:00 and 15:00: please inform the reception staff if your pet is alone in your room  in that time frame.

You can walk your pet on a leash everywhere in the property. If you don’t have any, you’ll find poop bags around the premises.

11 OVERBOOKING

In case of overbooking, Parc Hotels Italia undertakes to promptly notify its clients and provide

  1. a) an analogous or superior accommodation compared to the accommodation that has been booked;
  2. b) if needed, the transportation to the new accommodation.

Parc Hotels Italia will also give you the opportunity to

  1. c) make a phone call at your new destination.

12 CONFIRMATION DEPOSIT

In case of circumstances beyond our control and in case of overbooking, which entails that we cannot carry out the duties associated with the client’s reservation, Parc Hotels Italia undertakes to refund up to twice the amount paid as a confirmation deposit, in accordance with the article 1385 of the Italian Civil Code. Clients are not entitled to any further reimbursement as compensation.

 

13 COMPLAINTS AND REFUND REQUESTS

Any problems must be promptly reported to the hotel staff by filling out the specific form available at the reception desk, in order to quickly let the manager take steps.

In case that is not possible under the circumstances, the customer care is ready to receive your report via email, on condition that it is sent within 30 days from the moment when you encountered the problem. In turn, the customer care will inform you about the results of your report.

Any refund, which will be proportional to the damage that will be ascertained, shall be provided in the form of a voucher you can use for your future reservations at any Parc Hotels Italia properties.

14 FURTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS

For any further terms and conditions not explicitly stated in this policy, e.g. check-in and check-out times, special rates etc., the details specified in the booking confirmation alone are binding. The booking confirmation is the only document indispensable to enjoying the services that have been purchased.
